Finally!

"God has given me this day to use it as I will. I can wait-or use it for good, but what I do today is important, because I am exchanging a day of my life for it." (H. Wilson)

No longer can I sit still and delay writing any longer. So many thoughts and memories well up in my mind and yet I continue to shelve them away awaiting for a day to release them. There is a reluctance on my part to share my stories. Perhaps it is because I fear that no one would be interested in listening to them, but then I must remind myself what a privilege it is to share what God has allowed me to experience and the lives that He has touched through me. So, as you follow along, may you be blessed. If you wish to comment, please do so.

Isn't it funny, often times the things we end up doing are the things we haven't planned or even desired to do or be. This in a way best describes my life and yet I would not change 1 thing. From having 8 beautiful children to living in Africa ministering in the leper community to going to "Unreached Tribes' with the gospel, pretty well sums up some of the greatest happenings in my life. In all,God had a divine plan and only He could orchestrate such a life.

As I prepare to leave once again for the "bush", reflections from my time spent in Ethiopia with our 3 youngest children to our last trek come vividly to mind. It is these that I wish to share.

Tomorrow, I will begin with "A Visit to our Son"
